안녕하세요. 2014-15 학생회 집행부입니다.
현재까지 출마의향을 밝혀주신 분은 토목공학과 박사과정에 계신 방수혁 님입니다. 단독 후보인 관계로 3월 29일 23:59까지 여러분들의 의견을 수렴하고, 반대의견이 없으면 당선이 확정되어 4월 1일 부터 2015-16 학생회를 이끌어 나가게 됩니다. 저희 2014-15 학생회는 3월 말에 차기 학생회와 인수인계를 진행하고 회계내역을 공개하도록 하겠습니다.

안녕하세요, UW-Madison 학우 여러분.
2015-2016년도 학생회장에 출마하게 된 방수혁입니다. 먼저 제가 회장을 출마할 수 있게끔 진실된 추천과 아낌없는 조언을 해주신 많은 분들께 감사의 말씀을 전하고 싶습니다. 이런 일을 통해 제 주위에 참 좋은 분들이 많다는 것을 새삼 느낍니다.
현재 저는 토목공학과에서 세부전공으로 교통을 연구하고 있습니다. 제가 교통을 공부하는 가장 큰 이유는 저로 인해 더 좋은 세상이 될 수 있다고 생각하기 때문입니다. 이번 회장에 출마하게된 이유 또한 마찬가지입니다. 저로 인해 더 좋은 위스콘신 매디슨 대학교 한인 학생회가 되는 것입니다. 제가 생각 하는 좋은 학생회란 여러분이 곤경에 처했거나, 도움이 필요할 떄, 반대로 알리고 싶은 기분 좋은 일이 생겼을 때 가장 먼저 생각 나는 것이 저희 학생회 였으면 합니다.
그러기 위해서는 어떻게 해야할까요?
흔히 저희과에서는 세상을 하나로 만드는 것은 교통이라고 합니다. 그렇다면 사람을 하나로 만드는 것은 무엇일까요? 저는 소통이라고 하고 싶습니다. 벽없이 항상 열려있는 학생회가 되어 여러분의 목소리를 귀담아 듣고 자유롭게 의견을 주고 받아 하나되는 학생회, 항상 가장 가까운 곳에 존재하는 학생회를 만들도록 하겠습니다.
마지막으로 지금까지 훌륭한 학생회를 만들고 이끌어주신 허진아 회장님과 임원진분들께 감사의 인사를 드립니다. 위 분들이 발전시킨 학생회를 이어 받아 더욱더 발전하고 번창하는 학생회가 되도록 노력하겠습니다. 힘들고 외로운 유학생활에서 저희 학생회가 등뒤에서 불어오는 시원한 봄바람 같은 존재가 되길 바라며 이글을 마치겠습니다.
